AFTER A BAD EXPERIENCE

Slow down. Document what happened. Then choose the next step.

A disputed job can feel urgent and personal. Start with the facts that will help you explain the problem clearly.

Save the record

  1. Take photos of the work, parts, vehicle, and any damage.
  2. Save the estimate, invoice, receipts, call logs, text messages, and the business name/number you contacted.
  3. Write down the dates, the people involved, the price you were quoted, and what changed.

Try the direct resolution

  1. Contact the business through its direct phone or official website.
  2. State the outcome you want: explanation, itemized bill, refund, repair, or a copy of paperwork.
  3. Keep messages factual and in writing where possible.

Escalate when needed

Help correct the public record.
